clear thoughts and clear language unites people.

i am not a language purist, but i do believe that in order to make our thoughts clear our words must be clear, and that a the recent trends even among "educated" people of using or overusing catchwords and vague language does nothing to heal the escalating separations that have arisen in american society, and can actually be used to manipulate and keep us separate. clear language encourages clear thought. we need to be clear in both our words and our thoughts in order to hold our society together. this book uses humor to help us to understand that.
