From the Back Cover
"Synchronicities are expressions of the dreamlike nature of reality. Just like with our dreams at night, our inner process is given shape through the seemingly outer world. There is an instantaneous correspondence between the inner and outer worlds, not because they are two separate dimensions that are communicating faster than the speed of light, but because they are inseparably united as one seamless, already unified, whole continuum."
-Paul Levy
"Science is about observation. Simply that. To really understand the true nature of the 'reality' that surrounds us we have to take into account subjective experiences as well as objective observations. It is only through treating anomalous experiences as sources of scientific data that we will reach a fuller appreciation of the wonders of this universe."
-Anthony Peake
"In the last decade I have grown to appreciate the piling up of these so-called coincidences as evidence of a deep structuring to reality bearing the unmistakable signature of consciousness. The process has shocked my expectations, based as they were on scientific materialism, and caused me to re-evaluate my worldview in light of the evidence. The fact that so many disparate measurements converge on a few numbers and ratios does not appear to be random. There is more to reality than the physical."
-Scott Onstott
"Carl Jung coined the term synchronicity; this is his definition: 'Synchronicity is the coming together of inner and outer events in a way that cannot be explained by cause and effect and that is meaningful to the observer.' A shorter definition would be a meaningful coincidence. Shorter still would be to just say pay attention. The shortest definition of synchronicity is magic."
-Mike Clelland

ITS THE NEXT LEVEL OF THE NEXT LEVELl!!!
By Noah 137
Before I was even halfway finished with it, I realized this is one of the most profound books that's ever been made...Many of the contributing authors here are master artists in this particular "field" of exploration, and seeing this collide-o-scope of colorful perspectives laid out side-by-side generates a mind-expanding gestalt of mystical insight; A foolishly over-rated hobby to some, a path of inexpressible beauty and transcendence for others, yet it remains an unending source of mystery to all. Anyone who's followed their own trail of unexplainable coincidences can testify to the almost magical power of synchronicity to completely transform your view of reality, but if you've never experienced it firsthand, I dare say this book will do it for you!

This One is Good, Too
By Brizdaz
I liked the more straight forward approach of the synchronicity experiencers in the first "Sync Book", but 'The Sync Book 2' is a real exotic smorgasbord when it comes to this group of experiencer's ideas on synchronicity and the role it plays in their lives.
Like all smorgasbords though some chapters will leave you wanting more, while others will probably be toying with your gag reflex, making wish you hadn't started on that selection from the table of contents.
I truly found some fine food for thought among the pages of this book, but be warned;
have the bucket ready, because a few theories I found a little hard to swallow ;-)
Still, all chapters I found were worth a read, whether I agreed with the theories presented, or not, I still found them entertaining.

Sync Tank

It is absurd. Being out of Sync is absolutely absurd. But that's okay. Fact: Today's smart-phone equipped human being is perfectly aware of "where" they are in the Universe yet utterly in the dark of "when". My favorite essay in this interesting book is by an author named Mark LeClair. His essay Moon in the Middle subverts our awareness of "where" with a clever misdirection, apropos of a Wrong Way Wizard. By short circuiting our awareness of "where" (what I thought I knew I knew), we draw closer to realizing "when" (what I never knew I never knew). Huh? You'll have to read it to see for your self, as well as many of the other great essays in Sync Book 2. For ages 8-88.
