About the Author
Callie began by writing short stories when her children were young. Later, she made her debut after transforming one of her short stories into the novel For the Love of Lisa. A trilogy of the Carrington’s soon became her goal…now completed, will there be another to the series? She confesses writing completes her. Even so, she has no immediate plans for the next. She does admit a plot now swirls about in her head. She lives in Northern Illinois with her husband.

This is the third book I have read in this series and each one is better then the next!. This books will make you laugh , cry, and send chills down your spine!. This family has been though so much from amazing happiness to severe hurt!.
This book voices on Toby and Maggie who fell in love when they were just children. They ended up lovers even before Maggie was a teen!. Then became teen parents to twins Mic and Mia only there is a mystery behind who is really Mia's father as about the time Maggie got pregnant she was also raped. So now it is six years later, Toby and Maggie are finally getting married!. It is a beautiful wedding!. After they are married Maggie wanted to move into the Victorian home her Mom and Dad had lived in. Only her Dad Greg will not agree. Not after the haunting they had put up with in that house!. So he gives them another house he had. Then while Maggie, Toby and the twins are off visiting their parents the new house was burned down. NowcGreg agreed to let Maggie and her family have the Victorian temporarily. After they have lived there some time a young mman Ned comes to look at the house as it is still on the market. Ned ends up drugging Maggie and hypnotizing her!. What happens next will answers several mysteries!

The old house that Maggie lived in as a kid is where she and Toby end up moving to when they're forced out of their former home. They had believed that their difficulties were in the past but unfortunately that is not the case. More trouble escalates, and even their daughter appears to be pursued by a peculiar person. Toby and Maggie will never forget their first anniversary at Virginia Beach. This is one of those fascinating reads where you reason the scheme of things is heading a certain direction but then it takes a twist and a turn. Largely, this story was well thought out. I found it to be gratifying and particularly suspenseful. Wonderful writing Callie Norse!

This one was a little more focused on Maggie. I had to keep reading to figure out what was going to happen next, twists and mysterious missing hours Maggie couldn't remember. The young couple went through alot in this book. The third out of the carringtons series and I have enjoyed them all.
