Enjoyable read...

Teh storyline and character development in this book were very well done. And I can relate to the subject matter personally. And while I am looking forward to the sequel, the grammatical errors and the play on brand names to avoid trademark infringement (i.e. - Mart World, nozama.com, etc) dorve me crazy!! But overall, a very enjoyable read.

Calling all PHAT Gurls!!!!

Shawneda get out of my life!!! Gurl you are amazing!! I could relate to all of these women and their struggles with weight loss. Things happen in all of our lives that can turn us upside down sometimes, and this book was a perfect example of how three women had to learn how to first deal with their personal issues before they could deal with their weight issues. That one part about Tish D'Oliver and the airport scene had me laughing so hard, I cried.
People don't understand that being overweight is usually a sign of pain. Some people carry their pain differently. Some drink or do drugs, and in the case of these women, they ate. I don't like the way the book left me hanging, and the next part isn't coming out until next year, so sad. I want to know if the women were successful in their journey's.
Shawneda, I love your work, and can't wait to see how this one ends.
