About the Author
Judith Furedi was born in Hungary and grew up near the Dakota in NYC. Her poems have been set to music and performed at Carnegie Hall and were recorded on Grenadilla Records. She is the recipient of the prestigious David Markowitz award for poetry and chosen as best poet by the English department at CCNY at CUNY. Ms. Furedi is a contributor to many literary magazines, and is the editor and contributor to several poetry anthologies and non-fiction books. Her most recent work is seen in 'A Lennon Pastiche' (published by Pangea) which is a unique multi-media iBook. She has been a guest on several radio programs and has been the subject of many reviews in which she. has noted for her unique style and brilliant approach that is at the forefront of the future of publishing content & formatting. Currently, Ms. Furedi is working on a suspense novel within a series and assembling a cookbook with a special slant. In addition, she is working on her multi-generational literary saga that takes you from Europe, to New York City and the world. A wonderful keepsake, scrapbook, love-letter and time capsule. A joy.

Judith's wonderful book, "John Lennon: In Their Own Write: A Loving Tribute From His Friends and Fans" is a wonderful, intimate love letter to John and the Beatles and a magical era. The kind that burns twice as bright but sadly half as long. If you are a fan of John and Beatles as I am and enjoy not only wonderful poetry but amazing artwork, do yourself a favor and have a look at this book. It's a wonderful keepsake, scrapbook, love-letter and time capsule. It's something I never tire of going back to. I'm always finding some jewel that I somehow overlooked earlier.

A pure delight from the cover to cover

Judith has written a book that captures the love that she and other fans feel for John. It is a book written purely from the heart and will be enjoyed by fans everywhere. Read the love on every page and revel in the fact that you are not alone in your feelings for the man, his music, his words and his life. There are also interactive pages at the end of each chapter that allow the reader to add their own thoughts about John and their feelings. Judith's book delights and mesmerizes even the diehard fan.
The illustrated cover by Georgina Flood adds charm and beauty to an already charming and beautiful book. Her talent for drawing astounds me every time I see a new work from her. Looking on her drawings, one thinks that it's a picture you're gazing upon. She is a wonderfully talented artist in her own right.

Judith has written a book to be beloved by John Lennon fans everywhere. Throughout, the readers will find themselves recalling their own memories, some shared and some quite personal. It is important to remember that, despite John's messages of peace and love, his own life was troubled very deeply. So, I never saw John as the saint of peace his music spoke of but had to admire and continue to admire the incredible music and lyrics that helped shape a new generation.
