E. A. Pyne trained dolphins for twelve years in Orlando, Florida and is now a freelance Entertainment Industry writer. She was a writer and consultant for Universal Creative on the Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park. She is the author of The Secret Garden of Zombies and A Curiouser and Curiouser Series (Rowan Tree Books), and Dolphin Journey (iUniverse). Erin was the director of the Orlando Harry Potter Club for 13 years. She is active in the Harry Potter fandom community, presenting at the Potter symposiums and organizing wizard rock concerts. Pyne has a Bachelors degree in psychology and a Masters certification in conservation biology. She is the mother of three boisterous boys.

Comprehensive and Amusing

My wife loves Harry Potter. Much more that I ever did or could. As soon as this was available, I got her a copy. She devoured it and then made me do the same. You know what? It wasn't an ordeal. In fact, it was a pleasure. Not having "grown up" with Potter and only lately coming to the series, I had never understood all the fanfare it seemed to generate in its readers. This book really opened my eyes. It is a report from the front lines of those who truly adore the Potter world. It makes you appreciate the series as more than just well-written and fun literature. I enjoyed it thoroughly and wished I could have been present at the events it describes. If you have ever wondered what being a true member of the Hogwarts Fraternity would be like, then buy this book and find out.

Great book! But tops of pages cut off?

I was really excited about getting this book because I've been a Harry potter fan since I was 11 and now am going on 20, but when I received it in the mail and was reading through it, it looked like someone had chopped of a portion of the top of the book because words at the top of every page have been cutoff, and the side binding where the en of the title is has been cut off. Otherwise I would've given it 5 stars, it's a shame.
