Decent, but has the typical flaw...

in books of this type. These guys supposedly based their business around REO properties. Usually buying from the bank after the foreclosure process for 25% less than market value. They must live in an area with absolutely NO competition. Where I live everybody and their dog is after these types of properties, thus it is impossible to buy these houses for this type of discount. If you can get one it will be a DOG and you had better be ready to pour some money in it to get it sellable.
Another beef is with their numbers. They assume at one point purchasing a house with a mortgage for $67500 say that your PITI(principal, interest, taxes and insurance) will be $500. They then say you can rent this type of house for $1000. Not in my neck of the woods. Be sure to check your local numbers for insurance and taxes and rental rates.
That said, I do like their Rent-to-Own sales plan and the premise that someone renting-to own will take better care of the property than a transient renter would. I also like their breakdown of the six profits centers they look for in each property.
If you are looking for a way to get started in real estate I recommend their plan once you have purchased the property, I just wouldnt limit yourself to just trying to fight for REO houses. There are many opportunities for buying houses for less than market price, just do your homework and don't limit yourself.

This book has just the right tone and is written at just the right level-not too basic, but not too intense. Their approach seems very sound and the authors walk you through each step of their multi-step approach to investing easily. Smartly, they teach you to remove the emotion from the buy sell/decision (unlike when you buy your own home).

The authors' unique strategy seems to be the multiple profit sources from their rent to purchase model. They identify 6 profit sources in their approach that should give a first time investor more protection than the more traditional approach of hoping to buy low and sell high. They take market timing out of the equation. In addition this strategy provides for security should economic or geographic factors affect one or two of the profit sources.

The book's approach seems "doable" for the part time investor which also makes the book of great value. It does not appear that one needs to be a rocket scientist, or give up their day job, to put the brilliance of this book to work.

It's an easy and quick read too, if you are like me, and fear buying treatises that you would never get through. I highly recommend this book.

proven technique that works for me !

I have sucesfully applied the lease/purchase option during the last 6 years on 5 houses. One of the authors ( Andy Heller)showed this technique in the mid 90's to me and it really works for me
! The atraction lies in the fact that you make money with a minimum of headaches and still it is a win/win/win situation. I have 4 happy families that were finally able to obtain their own house. I made good money on these propetries and the neighbours of these families are still greatfull for fixing the eysores in the street.
If you want to make decent money without taking advantage of people and still enjoy a stress-less realestate live in doing so, this technique is wonderfull and makes the book a must.

Spiced up my love life/relationship

After getting some great ideas from Kinky Sex: The Secret to Long-term Desire (great book by the way, I highly recommend it) I realized I needed more than a guide. I needed a way to raise the topic with my partner without looking silly, so reading him erotica seemed a good place to start.

I picked Brie Learns the Art of Submission not just because of its rave reviews and No. 1 Bestseller status, but because I've always found the fantasy of submitting hot. I was stunned to discover this book describes some of my most outrageous fantasies. Other people think about this stuff? So I'm not a total freak!

What's more, my partner gets really turned on when I read it to him. For the first time ever, we're talking about doing these things in real life. Our sexual chemistry is off the chart.

The book describes how Brie, a curious young girl, signs up to be trained in the Submissive Training Centre. She is put through a variety of `practicums' which stretch her boundaries and allow her to explore the full depth of her sexual submission. Each BDSM scene focuses on a different area of play. Following Brie's story is like trying each one out for yourself.

I liked the way Brie is treated with such respect by the dominants she serves. We see not only what it means to submit, but what it means to dominate. We witness the kindness, care and, yes, love lavished on Brie as she serves the men who train her.

This isn't a literary masterpiece, but it is an exciting, highly erotic page-turner that gives you a window into the mysterious world of Domination / submission. I would recommend this book to anyone who's curious about trying Domination / submission with their partner and wants a great lead-in. It certainly worked for me/us.

Sexy yet Sweet

I actually rated this book 4.5 stars.

Months ago, when I first got my Kindle app I found an interesting looking freebie on Amazon and so I got myself "Brie's First Day of Submissive Training". This shortish instalment turned out to be as intriguing and hot as it had sounded and I was eager to find out what would happen next. However, I don't like having to buy my books in bits and pieces so I curbed my curiosity and decided to concentrate on other, complete stories. A few months later I was delighted to see that the nine Brie stories had been combined into one book. I bought it and read it immediately and haven't regretted the decision for one second.

This is a fascinating story for anyone who is interested in BDSM and everything it entails. Through Brie the reader gets an insight into what it takes to become a good submissive. In six short weeks Brie and her fellow students are taken through their paces and transformed from innocent wannabees into accomplished submissives. Not a single aspect of submission (as far as I could tell) is ignored. Along with Brie the reader is introduced to obedience, bondage, floggings, anal sex, objectification, oral sex, humiliation and a variety of other experiences of which Kinbaku (Japanese bondage) was my personal favourite. What I really liked about the way this story was told was that it was a learning process for Brie. She didn't embrace everything she was introduced to with immediate enthusiasm. A lot of the things she is introduced to are acts she had previously thought hateful or scary. She is training to become a submissive, and as with all training, this means pushing boundaries and going beyond what you think you are capable of and comfortable with.

As the subject of this book suggests most of this book revolves around sexual acts. I mean, how else are you going to train submissives? But thankfully there was also room for a bit of background story. So the reader gets a chance to get to know Brie and appreciate how she grows. I liked the way Brie was torn between several of the men she interacts with. In most romances I can't stand characters who can't make up their mind about who they love and want to be with but in this book it made real sense. When you experience such deep and emotionally charged exchanges it would be hard not to develop feelings for those you are so very intimate with. Of course the fact that it kept me guessing as to who Brie would end up with in the end was a nice added bonus.

I also liked that in these books all the Doms and submissives are individuals; they are young or old, well built or flabby, black or white, nasty or nice; they are just like everybody else: unique. A lot of popular books with a BDSM theme seem to portray certain stereotypes as their main characters (the words billionaire, troubled past, and young and innocent spring to mind). It made a very nice change to read a book with this theme in which the characters came across as people I might actually meet in my day to day life.

I also appreciated the way in which this book allowed the author to inform the reader about BDSM and submission without ever getting preachy. With the story set in a learning environment it made perfect sense that some of the lessons Brie was taught were shared with the reader. This means that the information that was given never interfered with the flow of the story but rather enhanced it.

The only thing that bothered me a little bit was that it was obvious that this story had previously been published in shorter sections; whenever a new week of Brie's training starts you are treated to a bit of a recap from the previous one. And while I'm sure this is useful if you're reading the story in instalments, it is not necessary and at times a bit annoying when you are reading the whole story in one, continuous book.

So now I'm faced with a dilemma. The author has recently published the first instalment of the second book in Brie's series. And while I'm very curious to see what is going to happen to her next I'm no more enthusiastic about reading books in instalments then I was all those months ago. The big question is: will I be able to curb my curiosity once again or will I submit to the urge to find out what happens next? Only time will tell.

Inspired coaching from Johnny Pain at Greyskull

Admittedly I'm a little biased. I'm already a big fan of Johnny Pain and the work he's done with strengthvillain.com and the Greyskull Barbell Club. I've been following his Greyskull linear progression (GSLP) for over 18 months and have gotten a lot stronger following it. Despite setting new PR's with surprising frequency under the GSLP, I wanted an interlude, a change of pace. I wanted to mix it up. So I was stoked to see him come out with this new 12-week training plan. After more than a year and a half on his "core" program, I figured it was time to try one of his other variants.

Earlier this year I thought about trying his "Bringing Up the Back" program (as outlined for *free* on strengthvillain.com) but opted to stick with GSLP a while longer. But when this new book came out, I could not resist. As of today I'm on Day 10 of Gladiator Stage One and loving every bit of it. You work hard 6 days a week and get 1 day a week to rest. In many ways it builds nicely on the GSLP strength program I'm already used to. It has given me some great conditioning challenges I wouldn't have normally sought out and tackled. Things like sled work, heavy bag, jump rope, sledgehammers, sprint intervals, middle-distance running and the like.

If you just started another program, I'd suggest that you stick with it for a period of time - at least 6-12 months. Don't "program jump" too often. Give your program some time to work. That said, I recommend it if you're a long-time program veteran looking for a balanced but demanding program to make you stronger and more athletic. I'm extremely eager to see JP's follow-up to this.

The Word's LIFE AFTER PRISON Shows His Range, Highlights His Talent

Through clever wordplay and his ability to weave a story through poetry author Melvin White aka The W.O.R.D. delivers a powerful message in his newest offer LIFE AFTER PRISON. The book is complete of the experiences of his past, how he has used them to shape the person he is today and what he hopes comes from his life moving forward.

In the book he tells us about the man he was before being behind bars and how the loss of his physical freedom aided him in releasing his power from the pen. We are also able to get a more sensual look of the wordsmith, letting his audience in to what turns him on, what inspires him and the kind of woman it takes to be in his world.

There's really nothing about The W.O.R.D. that he leaves out, but it still makes you want more. That is the key to a true storyteller: able to bring you to the table, satisfy your craving and leave you full.

Comprehensive and Amusing

My wife loves Harry Potter. Much more that I ever did or could. As soon as this was available, I got her a copy. She devoured it and then made me do the same. You know what? It wasn't an ordeal. In fact, it was a pleasure. Not having "grown up" with Potter and only lately coming to the series, I had never understood all the fanfare it seemed to generate in its readers. This book really opened my eyes. It is a report from the front lines of those who truly adore the Potter world. It makes you appreciate the series as more than just well-written and fun literature. I enjoyed it thoroughly and wished I could have been present at the events it describes. If you have ever wondered what being a true member of the Hogwarts Fraternity would be like, then buy this book and find out.

Great book! But tops of pages cut off?

I was really excited about getting this book because I've been a Harry potter fan since I was 11 and now am going on 20, but when I received it in the mail and was reading through it, it looked like someone had chopped of a portion of the top of the book because words at the top of every page have been cutoff, and the side binding where the en of the title is has been cut off. Otherwise I would've given it 5 stars, it's a shame.

Sam Del Rosario and Lou Savelli provide expert investigative assistance to police departments and private citizens, especially as it pertains to Internet and Computer crimes and the use of gathering information from Social Networking sites. They have helped and empowered countless victims take control of their lives through conducting their own investigations via the Internet. They have done so, again, and made it fun and easy, in this book. Sam Del Rosario is now a police officer in the City of Bethlehem, PA and a Deputy Coroner for the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office. He is one of the leading innovators on Internet Investigations and Gathering Intelligence through Social Networking Sites. He has conducted countless successful criminal investigations and has utilized his skills with Internet resources and computers to enhance and solve many of these investigations. Sam is part of Homefront Protective Group’s Criminal Investigation Training Team providing training to law enforcement officers across the world. Sam has earned a Master’s of Arts degree in Criminal Justice, with an emphasis on investigative forensics, and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Criminal Justice. This book, Before You Date Him, Investigate Him, written by two cops named Sam Del Rosario and Louis A Savelli is, not only a very interesting book to read, but it may have saved my life. I bought and read the book within days of it being available for sale since I have been painstakingly looking for something like it to show me how to investigate my online dates. I have had several online dating experiences that have left me wondering if I am a magnet for creeps and weirdos. I used some of the techniques in the book right away and found out that the guy I had just met online was married with five children and had a criminal record for domestic violence. Needless to say, I broke it off with him immediately! Thank you to the authors for, maybe, saving my life but definitely for showing a sure-fire way not to get hooked up with creeps anymore. And I laughed many times throughout the book. Anyone, male or female, dating online should get this book!

This book is awesome....it gave me the tools I needed to finding out the truth.

I received an advanced copy of the book from a friend of mine who knew one of the authors and I laughed when I saw the title but I knew I had to learn the secrets to finding out if the guys I've dated online were sneaking around on their wives or were some kind of 'Craiglist killer' like they mention in the book. I went back and started looking into all the guys I met online and lo and behold, half of them were married with kids and they had lied tome about it. I wish I had this book before I let anyone of them into my heart or my life. I thought this book is a lifesaver for any girl involved in online dating or any type of dating. It is my guide, from now on, before I meet any guy out there, whether I met him online or not. Bravo!!

Great tool for today's world!

I just bought this book for my-co-worker/friend as a gift. She is a recently divorced mom of 3 kids. She is new to the internet dating scene and has already come into contact with a couple of real creeps! One guy was constantly calling her at home and scaring her kids, so she had to call the cops. Another guy had a girlfriend and the girlfriend found my friends number on the boyfriends cell phone and called my co-worker at work! Can you imagine?

I think anyone who is on internet dating should consider buying this book. It's an invetsment in your future. The book seems like it's user friendly.
