THIN YELLOW LINE is a story of her personal journey as a woman and as a physician. Along the way, she must address the demons of her past while having to trust a man who could send her to prison for the rest of her life. These characters try to form a relationship under the surveillance of the Justice Department. Dr. Hunter must endure life as a resident physician and survive the sinister world of narco-terrorism. Galveston Island with its rich history and tropical tumultuous weather, becomes as much of a character in the novel as its inhabitants.

While completing residency training in medicine, Dr. Urrea was inspired to write "Thin Yellow Line". Dr. Urrea currently lives in Austin, Texas with her loving family. She continues to write fiction novels and practice the art and science of medicine.

Good and Evil..... Right and Wrong... but which is which...

If you like crime and mystery combined with a medical theme.... this is a book for you. Pulled into the lives of the patients and felt the emotions swing as their world progressed. Glad this is fiction and hope much of the story line about our healthcare system was for our entertainment, not our education. Great twists and turns... by 2/3 of the way through... I was hooked and had to sit down and just finish it in one reading. I needed to know what happened.

If you enjoy medical dramas you will NOT be disappointed!

This book is definitely a great read! I sat down for some light reading before bed and I stayed up practically the entire night trying to find out what happened next. This book will definitely keep you on the edge of your seat. Furthermore, I enjoyed being able to identify with each character in the story, as Dr. Urrea draws you in with her vivid vocabulary and juicy details. BUY THIS BOOK! You will not regret it!

I recommend this book to anyone looking for a story that combines mystery, action, and romance all in one. The author skillfully sets the scene with the characters and environment that will have you turning the pages of this thriller from cover to cover. You will root for the protagonist like never before while you are discovering the meaning of the thin yellow line.
