Dante Spencer MA, CSCS graduated from UCSD where he minored in Biology with an emphasis in Nutrition. He was a nutritionist for many years and holds several health and fitness related certifications (NSCA CSCS, APEX, NASM). He's been featured on the cover of Men's Health magazine three times and recently received his Master's Degree in Spiritual Psychology at USM.

It's simple to have the body you want!

A simple no-nonsense guide to being healthy! Forget fad diets that you follow for a certain number of days while being miserable with all the restrictions. This book taught me things I didn't know and reiterated things we all know but ignore (drink your water). It really is simple to learn how to eat "right"and still enjoy "treats" you love.

Spencer is humorous and gives easy to understand examples. I'm not gonna lie, I did say "duh" aloud a couple times....but it was still a light bulb moment. How can we not have realized these simple truths before? I've already started his plan and can't wait to get rid of this "baby fat". (after all, my baby is 2 years old!)"

I received this book as a first-reads giveaway but would have gladly purchased myself..with an extra copy for hubby!

Something for Everyone in this Book!

I read this in a Goodreads giveaway, entering because I was hoping for some inspiration and motivation to get my tush in gear and shape up some of my crappy habits...

It absolutely helped.

I carried around this book in my purse for a full week before I started reading it. I went to have coffee with a friend for lunch and was looking for something in my purse so I took the book out and set it on the table. My friend looked at Dante Spencer's picture on the front and then asked when I started reading romance novels... she thought he was a male model. I laughed and promised to lend her the book after I finished it.

HTLWIYS started off a little iffy for me. There was a little name dropping, but honestly, I paid more attention because of it. Seriously, if Gerard effing Butler is paying attention to Spencer, then I sure as hell should! Halfway through the first section of the book I realized I was reading this at warp-speed. Spencer writes his books like he's having a conversation with the reader which makes for an easy read. I loved his style of writing, he connects with his audience. One of the best chapters was about body cleanses, which I haven't tried yet but was really curious about. I learned a lot from his years of experience and (fingers crossed) some of it will stick with me.

Get it. Read it. Carry it around in your purse and let people think you're reading romance novels.

This book actually works!!! The book is a very good read and it actually works, i have lost about 20 pounds from this diet, and what he has to say makes sense too, So grab this book if you really want to lose the weight.
